In a public space converted into a private one, « intérieur presque monochrome » is an immersive installation which uses monochrome throughout.

In this pictural act, black is displayed all the way through the gallery space in a variety of ways.

Both meticulous and casual, this polymorphic work draws the spectator's attention into an indoor market where eyes are usually distracted by their surroundings.

It identifies the paradox between personal choices and « ready-made » elements borrowed from our interior designs.

Hidden behind humour and satire we perceive a sense of self-criticism in a work conceived as a game between reality and its representation where it's not so dark in the end.
