The installation consists of producing an electric current using fruits, reproducing the physicist Alessandro Volta's system, the inventor of the battery.

Under the market, the installation takes the form of a shop where the exhibited fruits generates the electricity of their own light sign. the LEDs of the sign in Chinese characters forms the title of the work "静物" (Jingwu), it is the term used to designate the "Still Life". These characters also mean static, stable. It is therefore question of an opposition between the title and the evolution of fruits rotting, and the slow disappearance of the text itself. The fruits and vegetables of the project are purchased to market traders
